The location was very convenient, just a few minutes from the central train line and many bus stops, as well as a few blocks from Nishiki Market. You can also ship luggage anywhere in the country for a low fee which is really nice. The staff were all very kind and tried to help me with whatever they could.

The staff was great, the room size was also good considering the location. The main thing that was uncomfortable was the pillows. Eventhough, it is a signature pillow as advertised by the hotel, I suggest you have spare pillows for guests who are uncomfortable with such standards.

The proximity to many of Kyoto's popular spots was very convenient. I liked that the dining room space at the front of the hotel was open to use after breakfast, as it was a nice place to rest in other than your room. The room was a bit small but adequate size for solo traveling.

I enjoyed the little cafe in the lobby. There was a nice place to put the laptop up and get some work done in the morning before walking out into town. The location is excellent and only two blocks away from the main strip and close to everything that you want to see in Kyoto

Great location. Mighty fine service here. Not having a mandatory cleaning was nice. The last two hotels had this so it was good to know no one would be intruding. I didn't go for the 900 yen breakfast as I didn't have time in the mornings but, it looked delightful.
